1. Title: Manager Safety & Security, Emergency Services/Emergency Preparedness & Communications
2. Reports To: Director of Facilities.

3. Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for providing organization, structure, and training for planning, developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive Safety and Security Management, Emergency Preparedness and Communication programs. Audits and reports daily, weekly, and monthly statistical data. Functions as the primary liaison with staff in the operation of the various program components. Responsible for organizational compliance with The Joint Commission Environment of Care and OSHA standards related to the programs outlined above. Keeps abreast of and ensures compliance with relevant federal, state and local statues, regulations and reporting requirements.

Education/Certificates/Licenses: LA City Fire card and certificate of workplace violence training (MAB or CPI) are required within the first 60 days of hire, and must be maintained throughout employment. Minimum 2 years experience working in Disaster and Data Collection preferred; CommandAware trainer, and Reddinet Coordinator or 2 years experience working in Safety & Security. Must be able to use Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
