MACHINE SHOP seeks Set-Up Machinist Eight-person machine shop in Chatsworth, Ca.
looking for a Set-Up Machinist.
Our client provides precision investment castings and CNC machining services for the aerospace, medical, communications, defense, and commercial markets.
Key
Responsibilities:
Must have 2-5 years Set-up Experience Must have mills experience.
The machines are Haas / Fanuc Control experience, 4th & 5 Axis experience / Renishaw Probe knowledge a big plus.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, work from shop process instructions and tool lists.
Should understand GD &T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) as our machined products are 99% machined from casting, so experience in GD&T area is a major plus.
Strong communication skills, must be able to read, write and communicate in the English language.
Should have machining experience in a production shop environment.
Should have basic tools of the trade (Tool Box, Calipers, Micrometers, wrenches, etc).
Must have Excellent Attendance Record / Reliable Transportation Work hours - 6 a.
